Is GATE tougher than JEE?

Me: 'Everyone agrees JEE is tough. It’s impressive to have such a deep understanding at a young age. But let me ask you, which do you think is tougher, getting into Google/Facebook or IIT?'

Sister: 'Nothing. But what’s wrong with admitting JEE is the toughest exam?'

She stared at me for about 10-15 seconds, then went back to watching the video.
